Sheeni, a member of Metallurgical Industries Co., is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture of ceramic and porcelain products. The Company.s products are divided into six categories: household porcelain, which offers dinner sets, coffee sets and tea sets, hard porcelain sets for hotels, restaurants, clubs and tourist villages, sanitary ware, which produces sanitary ware in classic and modern styles, including complete toilet sets, toilet seats, wash-basins, shower trays and accessories, art ware, which produces vases and art ware with Islamic and classic patterns, and ceramics of floor and wall.
Financial Performance:
A net profit of EGP18.2Million in 2010 vs. EGP14m for FY2009. In May 2011 the BoD estimated budget for 2011/12 with an expected net income of EGP 26.1mn. In mid-May, PRCL reported its 9M11 results (ended March 2011), posting a 48%YoY increase in net profit to EGP15.2mn, vs. 10.2mn in 9M10. On a quarterly basis, net profit increased 14.3% to EGP 3.2mn vs. EGP2.8mn in 3Q10.
