Established in 1930 as a private sector company, then in 1968, it was nationalised to affiliate the holding company for trade & in 2008 it transferred to holding company for tourism, hotels & cinema to whom it is owned by 100%. It is a chain of retail stores for consumer & durable goods: all kinds of ready-made garments for men, women & children, in addition to mechanical & hand-made carpets, luxurious, gifts, modern furniture & electrical appliances. The company also distributes goods for sister companies. Within the company units, there is Pontrimoly factory for modern furniture.
