The Egyptian Company for Integrated Waste Management (ECWM)

Aecom is a leading company in establishing, operating and managing waste treatment and burial projects. The company carries out treatment and conversion works to produce organic fertilizer and alternative fuel. The main projects of the company include treatment and burial of waste generated from Cairo Governorate, with a reception rate of more than 8,000 tons/day, which is one of the largest projects in the Middle East. The project employs nearly a thousand direct and indirect workers, through the Salam Processing Factory, which serves the northern and eastern regions, and the 15th of May project, which serves the southern and western regions.
